Good afternoon my friend! As you may remember, we started prepping the garden for spring recently, which you can read about here. Unfortunately our work got rained off, but we finally managed to progress with the spring planting yesterday. To be honest it's been quite nice doing this job in stages, as I've heard planting bulbs can be rather laborious. So far I've been enjoying it, so I'm hopefully doing something right! (Or very wrong!?)
Hello there! Is it just me or has autumn shoved it's way in faster than you can say 'Go away I'm not ready!?' Although, not even autumn. Is it just me or has it suddenly become winter? It barely feels like I've had the sun on my face and we've now been thrown back into keeping the curtains closed in the mornings, having the heating on, popping every single fairy light on that we have and sharing the bed with Roma, who now wants our body heat!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! With summer currently in full swing, I have been feeling a bit un-summery when it comes to our garden. I know that it's going to take time, and a lot more work to get it to how I'd like it, but it was just, so, green. I bought loads of bedding plants and put them in last month but they're just not cutting it, you don't really notice them when you look around. There is still too much green!
