Yankee Candle Wax Melts for Spring

Good morning and happy Friday!

The sun may not be shining every day just yet, but spring is definitely, well and truly, here. The birds are singing all day long, the daffodils are in full flower (not mine yet though - they're neeeaaarrrllly there) and Easter is approaching much faster than I'm prepared to admit! So, me being the little spring-crazed bunny I am, I couldn't resist restocking my wax melts last week with some of the most beautiful spring scents around.

Yankee Candle Midnight Jasmine and Honey Glow

These are all from Yankee Candle and smell delicious, and in case you're thinking they don't all look very apt for spring, I'll tell you why I chose them:

Honey Glow - This one is my between-the-seasons scent. It may look more autumnal, and it is to an extent, as it's warm, cosy and homely. But it's also fresh, crisp and sunshiney. It's that perfect fragrance for the home that is stuck somewhere between winter chill and spring colour, and offers that much needed hug of warmth when you're desperately fighting off the last frosts of February.

Midnight Jasmine - This is a bold and fragrant melt; and if you like subtle scents, possibly avoid. This is one best enjoyed with fresh air - it's the smell of a warm, sticky summer evening, sitting outside beneath a trellis of jasmine flowers, their sickly sweet but oh so beautiful floral notes filling the air.

Yankee Candle Shea Butter and Spring Fragrances

Shea Butter - Remember that feeling as a child, stepping out of the bath to a giant, clean, fluffy white towel wrapped around you by your Mum? The one that had been warming on the radiator all evening, especially for this moment? That comfort, that warmth, that safe place... that's this melt. And it's perfect for your spring home because it's one of the freshest, most wonderful smells you will ever encounter. Just like spring.

Amber Moon - Another warming, cosy scent - this one smells like a hot, indulgent bubble bath that you could just sink into and stay forever. Need I say more!?

Yankee Candle Honey Blossom

Honey Blossom - My absolute favourite. This one is fresh washing blowing on the line; the first day of the year that you can sit outside; the sun on your face and the magical scent of flowers all around you. This, is spring. Sweet, fresh, floaty and bright, oh so floral and oh so beautiful.

And as I write this, Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite is gently weaving through the house from the kitchen radio.... What could possibly be a better welcome into spring?

Have a glorious day, my friends.
